WHAT'S HOT

Pop of Color

Runway and street style looks from this year’s fashion month have rewarded us with more than enough inspo for transitioning into our spring wardrobes.

As the temperatures start rising we look to our closets to cure our winter blues and what better solution than injecting some color into your style?

Dopamine dressing was a big trend for 2022, the theory that we could dress ourselves happy is nothing new and we can’t deny that certain shades boost our mood on gloomy days.

Warm Tones

Pantone’s color of the year for 2023 was named Viva Magenta, a bold shade of red with pink undertones and while it seems daunting at first, the color is surprisingly easy to incorporate into your wardrobe, pairing well with white, beige or even softer shades of pink. We suggest a pair of statement sandals as an easy way to dip your toe into the Magentaverse.

If you are still feeling unsure about the in-your-face Magenta, you can’t go wrong with a classic red or orange instead. A burnt muted orange is not just reserved for fall, pairing beautifully with browns and beiges while a bright neon bag or accessory could make an otherwise basic outfit pop!

Thanks to the Barbie movie coming out this summer, we won’t be saying goodbye to Barbiecore pink any time soon either.

We already started browsing for the perfect pair of shades, they can effortlessly tie an outfit together and can be your very first experiment in adding some happy shades to your everyday style.

Another easy option for sneaking some color in is to simply reimagine a familiar favorite in an unconventional shade, like a bright pink Chanel flap bag or a red Hermes Birkin.

Cold Tones

As a stark contrast to the red and pink family, this spring you can opt for colder tones like the electric Cobalt Blue or an icy pastel like Lavender - both very on-trend choices for the season. Cobalt Blue can be paired with black for a sophisticated look, while Lavender could work for a head-to-toe ensemble as a safe choice for the minimalists among us. Pastel blues or lilacs are best for soft, feminine looks and sheer fabrics, which we will no doubt be seeing in the warmer months.

Once you’re ready to step out for your evening cocktail, you can go the metallic route and rock a silver or metallic purple look!

One color that keeps making a comeback every season is green, in its many variations from shocking neon to subtle olive and sage. Announcing its comeback on the streets of Paris in 2022 with “Bottega Green” the color seamlessly pairs with neutral pieces you might already have in your closet.
