WHAT'S HOT

Spotted: Street style trends from Copenhagen Fashion Week FW23

Double up on denim

There was no lack of double denim on the cobbled streets of Copenhagen during fashion week! Guests liked to double – or triple! – up and wear a full denim look. It was an updated version of the Canadian tuxedo as the pieces were more often than not embellished and printed and accompanied by accessories in denim as well. When it comes do dressing up with denim, more is more. Explore all things denim right here!

Tiny tops

This trend is only suitable as long as the weather permits it – or as long as you can bear it! Bikini tops and smalle bralettes were worn by Fashion Week goers who paired the tiny top with oversized silhouettes in the shape of blazers, bomber jackets and silky two-pieces. Underwear is no longer to be kept under wraps – whip it out.

Brown like chocolate

The chocolate brown color was spotted on multiple occasions at Copenhagen Fashion Week. It qualifies as a neutral but it’s a bit more exciting than a monochrome black and white ensemble. Whether it’s in the shape of dresses, suits or skirts, wearing this dark brown color will bring a bit of flair to any outfit. Also, this is an easy trend to take with you into autumn and winter!

Barbie pink

Pink is the color of the season and has been ever since Valentino showed their Fall/Winter 22/23 collection earlier in the year. Pierpalo Picolli developed a bright pink PP color with Pantone for the show and it was definitely being referenced by guests of Copenhagen Fashion Week. The hot pink was accompanied by more muted pinks, purples and reds making the streets look like Barbie heaven. Want the look? Check out our edit of the best pink secondhand goodies.
